PROZOR 192KHz HDMI ARC to Optical/Coaxial Audio Adapter (Model YN52) Instruction Manual

1. Ngwaahịa gafereview

The PROZOR 192KHz HDMI ARC to Optical/Coaxial Audio Adapter is designed to extract audio from your television's HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) port and convert it into either an Optical (Toslink/SPDIF) or Coaxial digital audio output. This device facilitates connecting modern TVs to audio systems such as soundbars, amplifiers, or AV receivers that may lack HDMI ARC input but support Optical or Coaxial connections.

This adapter supports high-resolution audio sampling rates up to 192kHz (32, 44.1, 48, 96, and 192kHz) and outputs uncompressed 2-channel PCM digital audio. It also supports Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 audio passthrough, depending on the capabilities of both the TV and the connected audio device. The aluminum alloy housing provides enhanced electromagnetic shielding and efficient heat dissipation for reliable performance.

  5. Configure TV Audio Settings:

Access your TV's audio settings menu and perform the following adjustments:

    • Enable CEC: Ensure that Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) is enabled on your TV. This feature is often named differently by various TV manufacturers (e.g., Anynet+ for Samsung, Bravia Sync for Sony, SimpLink for LG).
    • Set Audio Output to HDMI ARC: Select HDMI ARC as the primary audio output.
    • Set Audio Format to PCM or LPCM: For optimal compatibility and to ensure stereo audio, set the digital audio output format to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) or LPCM (Linear PCM). While the adapter supports Dolby Digital 5.1 / DTS 5.1 passthrough, setting to PCM ensures broader compatibility, especially for 2-channel audio.
