- This guide uses Apple Home as an example. Prepare an iPhone (iOS 16.2 or later) or iPad (iPadOS 16.2 or later) with the latest firmware, along with an Apple HomePod mini also running the latest firmware. Press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds until the indicator light flashes red rapidly, then release. Within 3 seconds, press the reset button three times briefly.
