  • How do I get warranty service for my UEi Test Instrument?

    Warranty repairs or replacements are handled directly by UEi. Securely package the unit with your purchase receipt or proof of original purchase date and return it postage paid and insured to UEi.

  • Can I replace the sensor on my UEi gas leak detector?

    Yes, most sensors, such as the RS1000 for the CD100A, can be replaced. Turn the unit off, remove the top half of the sensor housing, push the Tip-Light LED to one side, and unplug the old sensor to insert the new one.

  • What does a flashing red LED mean on my combustible gas leak detector?

    In normal operation, the red LED flashes in correspondence with the tic rate. However, if the battery is low, the red LED will stay steady and the tic rate will not be adjustable, indicating it's time to replace the battery.

  • How should I clean my UEi testing equipment?

    Periodically clean your meter's case using a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive, flammable liquids, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents as they may damage the finish and impair safety.
