4. Nhazi

4.1 Ntinye igwe

  1. Ensure all power is disconnected at the main breaker.
  2. Mount the TOB1S-63 circuit breaker onto a standard 35mm DIN rail by engaging the clips on the back of the device.

The TOB1S-63 is a 3P+N device. Connect the incoming power supply to the 'Power' terminals and the load to the 'Load' terminals as indicated on the device.

  • Connect the three phase lines (L1, L2, L3) and the neutral line (N) to the respective 'Power' input terminals.
  • Connect the corresponding load lines (L1, L2, L3, N) to the 'Load' output terminals.
  • Ensure all screw-type terminals are tightened securely to prevent loose connections and arcing.

4.3 WiFi Network Connection (TUYA Smartlife App)

  1. Download the 'TUYA Smartlife' app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Register or log in to your Smartlife account.
  3. Ensure the circuit breaker is powered ON. The 'Signal' indicator light should be blinking. If not, press and hold the 'Press 10s network' button until it blinks rapidly.
  4. In the Smartlife app, tap '+' to add a device. Select 'Electrical' > 'Circuit Breaker (Wi-Fi)'.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
  6. Once connected, the 'Signal' indicator will become solid.

4.4 RS485 Modbus Connection (Optional)

For RS485 Modbus communication, connect the A and B terminals of the circuit breaker to your Modbus network. Refer to the Modbus protocol documentation for specific register addresses and communication parameters.

To manually turn the circuit breaker ON or OFF, use the red toggle switches on the front panel. Push up for ON, push down for OFF.

  • Set schedules or timers for automatic operation.
