6. Operating the Valeton GP-5
6.1 Basic Arụmọrụ
Once powered on, the GP-5 will display the current patch number and name. Use the footswitch to cycle through patches. The PARA knob is used to navigate menus and adjust parameters within selected effects.
6.2 Effect Blocks and Editing
The GP-5 features over 100 effects organized into up to 9 effect blocks. To edit an effect:
- Select a patch.

6.4 Third-Party IR Loader
The device can load up to 20 custom cabinet impulse responses (IRs). This feature allows for extensive tone customization by simulating different speaker cabinets. Use the dedicated software editor to upload and manage your IR files.
6.5 Patch Management
The GP-5 has 100 patch slots (50 factory, 50 user). You can save your customized effect chains and settings to user patches. To save a patch, navigate to the save option in the menu, select a user slot, and confirm.
6.6 Software Editor
Connect the GP-5 to your computer via the USB-C port to access the Valeton software editor. This software provides a graphical interface for easier patch editing, effect management, SnapTone/IR loading, and firmware updates.

7. Operating the Hotone Tuner Press
7.1 Ọnọdụ Tuner
To activate tuner mode, press the footswitch. The display will show the note being played and indicate if it is sharp or flat. Use the AKW MODKWỌ AKW .KWỌ na NKWUKWU buttons to adjust settings as needed. Press the footswitch again to exit tuner mode and return to normal signal flow (true bypass).
7.2 Volume Pedal Function
In volume pedal mode, the pedal controls the output volume of your instrument. Press the Ngosipụta switch to cycle to the volume display. Move the pedal forward to increase volume and backward to decrease it. The HI/LA switch can adjust the volume range.
7.3 Expression Pedal Function
When used as an expression pedal, the Tuner Press sends control voltage to a compatible device. Connect the APỤTA jack to the expression input of the target device. Press the Ngosipụta switch to cycle to the expression display. The pedal's movement will then control the assigned parameter on the external device. The HI/LA switch may affect the expression range.
