1. Installing the AI Tracker

Take out the magnetic AI tracker. Align the pogo pins with those on the phone clamp and press down until you hear a click, ensuring it's securely installed. Point the lens toward the subject to be filmed.

2. Turning On the AI Tracker

Toggle the switch on the AI tracker to "ON". The fill light will flash twice, and then the red light will stay solid, indicating the AI tracker is active.

3. Front/Rear Tracking

To reverse the tracking direction, first press the safety locks on both sides of the phone clamp. Then, rotate the AI tracker 180° and reinstall it. The tracking direction will be reversed.

Mara: Do not force-remove the AI tracker without unlocking to avoid damage. It is normal for the pogo pins at the bottom of the AI tracker to heat up after prolonged use. Please avoid direct contact to prevent burns!

4. Gesture Control (Only for Person)

Maintain a gesture recognition distance of 1.64 to 16.40 ft (0.5 to 5m) and a tracking distance of 1.64 to 22.97 ft (0.5 to 7m) for optimal performance.

  • Bido nsochi: Make the "OK" gesture. The indicator light turns solid green, and AI tracking begins.
  • Stop Tracking: Make the "🖐️" gesture. The indicator light turns solid red, and AI tracking stops.

  • Customized Composition: Make the "peace" gesture with both hands. When the indicator light blinks green, move the subject to the desired framing position. Make the same gesture again, and after the indicator light turns solid, the composition is set.

5. Touchscreen Control (For Any Subject)

Subject tracking supports people, pets, vehicles, buildings, and more, and can be activated via the touchscreen remote controller.

  • Method 1: Double Tap: Double tap your target on the touchscreen. A green frame appears around the target, and the AI icon turns green, indicating tracking has started.
  • Method 2: Drag Selection: Drag to draw a box around the target. A red frame appears on the touchscreen. Press the side button on the right to confirm. The red frame turns green, indicating tracking has started.
  • Stop AI Tracking: Triple tap anywhere on the touchscreen. The green frame disappears, and AI tracking stops.

6. Live Feed Calibration

If the live feed on the touchscreen doesn't match your phone's camera view, long-press the side button to activate live feed calibration. The touchscreen border turns red. Use the joystick to adjust the remote's display. A grid will appear to help with framing. Long-press the side button again to complete calibration when the live feed aligns with your phone screen.

7. Quick Tracking

The iSteady V3 Ultra features a quick AI tracking function. Single press the trigger or side button to automatically lock onto the subject and start AI tracking. Press the trigger (or side button) again to stop AI tracking.

8. Quick Composition

During AI tracking, if you need to temporarily adjust the composition, simply use the joystick to reposition it. After adjustment, AI tracking continues with the new composition.
