5.1 Using the Stovetop Burners

  1. Lift the glass stovetop cover.
  2. Place cookware on the grate over the desired burner.
  3. Push in and turn the corresponding burner knob counter-clockwise to the 'IGNITE' position. You will hear a clicking sound as the igniter sparks.
  4. Once the burner ignites, continue to hold the knob in for a few seconds to allow the flame safety sensor (FFD) to activate.
  5. Release the knob and adjust the flame to the desired cooking level.
  6. To turn off, turn the knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Iji oven

  2. Push in and turn the oven knob counter-clockwise to the desired temperature setting.
  3. While holding the knob in, use a long lighter or match to ignite the pilot light located at the bottom of the oven.
  4. Once the pilot light is lit, continue to hold the knob in for approximately 15-20 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up and engage the gas valve.
  5. Release the knob. The main oven burner should ignite and begin heating to the set temperature.
  6. To turn on the oven light, press the 'LIGHTS' button on the control panel.
  7. To turn off the oven, turn the oven knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.

Mara: The oven features a gas cut-off valve for added safety. Ensure it is in the 'ON' position for oven operation.
