3.1 Mounting the Taillight

  1. Identify a suitable location on your bicycle's seat post. The mounting bracket is designed for seat post installation.
  2. Secure the mounting bracket to the seat post using the provided elastic band. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached and angled correctly so the light will face directly backward.
  3. Align the taillight with the grooves on the mounting bracket.
  4. Insert the taillight into the bracket and rotate it 90 degrees until it locks securely into place. There are two nubs in the mount that engage with recessed areas on the light.

4.3 Smart Brake Sensing Function

The taillight is equipped with a smart sensor that detects deceleration. When braking or slowing down, the light will automatically increase its brightness by approximately 20% for 5 seconds to provide a clear warning to vehicles behind you. This feature is most noticeable and effective in flashing or breathing modes. In constant-on mode, the brightness boost may be less apparent.

4.4 Intelligent Sleep and Vibration Wakeup

To conserve battery, the taillight features an intelligent sleep mode:

  • If the bicycle remains stationary for 30 sekọnd, the taillight will enter a dormant (hibernation) state.
  • Upon detecting vibration or movement, the light will automatically wake up and resume its previous lighting mode.
  • If the light remains in the dormant state for 30 nkeji without any movement, it will perform a forced shutdown to completely power off. To reactivate, you will need to long-press the power button.

The CYCLAMI CY110 taillight is equipped with a Type-C charging port for convenient recharging.

  1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the taillight, usually protected by a rubber cover.
  2. Gently open the rubber cover to expose the port.
  3. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the taillight and the other end to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter, power bank).
  4. The light will indicate charging status (e.g., flashing while charging, solid when fully charged).
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber cover to maintain water resistance.
