- Ensure the engraving pen is turned off.
- Unscrew the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen it.
- Insert the desired engraving bit into the chuck. Ensure the bit is inserted as far as it can go for stability.
- Tighten the chuck clockwise until the bit is securely held. Ensure it is firmly tightened to prevent the bit from dislodging during operation.
