Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your scooter to ensure safe and optimal use.

3.1 Unboxing na Mgbakọ
Upon unboxing, you will find the eKickScooter, a 3mm Allen wrench, screws, a battery charger, a thank you card, user manual, and important information. Follow these steps to assemble your scooter:
- Place the eKickScooter on a flat surface. Unfold the kickstand to ensure stability.
- Push the stem away from the base until it clicks into place. Close the quick release lever securely.
- Organize the handlebar cables, then slide the handlebar into the stem. Ensure the headlight faces forward.
- Use the Allen wrench to insert and tighten the four screws in the suggested order (refer to the video for visual guidance).
3.2 Initial Charging and Activation
For first-time use, the scooter's battery needs to be activated. Plug the charger into a power source and then into the scooter's charging port. The LED on the charger will change from red to green when fully charged (approx. 4 hours).
- Open the rubber plug on the charging port.
- Insert the charger plug. The scooter is fully charged when the charger's LED turns green.
- When done charging, reinsert the integrated rubber plug.
- To activate the battery for first use, plug the scooter into the charger for at least 3 seconds.
- Note on Sleep Mode: If the battery power is 30% or less and the scooter hasn't been powered on for about 7 consecutive days, it will enter sleep mode. In this state, it cannot be powered on until charged to 30% or higher.
3.3 Mmalite Ngwa
To fully activate your scooter and access all features, download the Segway-Ninebot App (version 6.6.6 or above) and create an account.
- Ike na eKickScooter.
- Open the Segway-Ninebot App on your smartphone. Tap 'Search Vehicle' and pair with your eKickScooter.
- Follow the in-app instructions, including watching the riding safety video.
- Tap to activate the eKickScooter. By default, the speed mode is set to 'D' (Drive) mode, with a limited speed of 12.4 mph (20 km/h).

4.1 Riding Your Scooter

4.3 Lights and Indicators
- Press the power button after powering on to turn on the headlight. Press again to turn it off.
- The tail light flashes continuously and cannot be turned off.

4.4 Advanced Riding Features
- Sistemụ Njikwa traction (TCS): Helps maintain rear wheel stability on slippery or uneven surfaces. Enable/disable via the Segway-Ninebot App.
- Hill-Hold Assist: Prevents the scooter from rolling backward on inclines. Activate via the custom button after enabling in the app.
- Njikwa ụgbọ mmiri: Maintain a constant speed effortlessly. Enable in the app and activate when riding above 3.1 mph.
- Energy Recovery System: Reclaims energy during braking or coasting to extend range.

- Autonomous Unlocking (AirLock): Automatically locks/unlocks your eKickScooter as you approach or leave it. Customize the unlocking distance in the app.
- Digital & Pattern Codelock: Secure your scooter with a customizable digital or pattern-based lock via the app or handlebar controls.
