The KOIOS food processor features two speed settings for various processing needs:

Figure 5.1: Two Speeds Pulse Control for different food types.
This image visually explains the two speed settings. Speed I (smooth cutting) is recommended for soft foods such as onions, avocados, and chilies. Speed II (turbo chopping) is recommended for harder foods like meat, carrots, and nuts. The motor unit has two distinct buttons for these speeds.
- Speed I (Smooth Cutting): Press and hold the 'I' button on the top of the motor unit for a slower, smoother cutting action. This speed is ideal for soft ingredients like onions, avocados, and chilies, or for achieving a coarser chop.
- Speed II (Turbo Chopping): Press and hold the 'II' button for a faster, more powerful chopping action. This speed is suitable for harder ingredients such as meat, carrots, and nuts, or for achieving a finer chop or puree.
Ndụmọdụ Ọrụ Izugbe:
- Pulse Action: For best results and to prevent over-processing, use short pulses by pressing and releasing the desired speed button. This gives you greater control over the texture.
- Oge nhazi: Do not operate the appliance for more than 30 seconds continuously. If more processing is needed, allow the motor to rest for a few seconds before continuing.
- Nha ngwa ngwa: For optimal performance, cut larger ingredients into smaller, uniform pieces (e.g., less than an inch square for vegetables) before placing them in the bowl.
- Dual Bowls: The inclusion of both a glass and a stainless steel bowl allows you to process different food types without mixing flavors, or to prepare multiple ingredients sequentially.

Figure 5.2: Utilizing two bowls for different cooking needs.
This image highlights the benefit of having two separate bowls. One scenario shows preparing baby food (puree) in one bowl, while another shows chopping meat in the stainless steel bowl, emphasizing the ability to avoid flavor cross-contamination.
- Nkọ agụba: The stainless steel blades are very sharp, ensuring effortless cutting. Always handle them with care.
