  1. Carefully remove the balance from its packaging.
  2. Place the balance on a firm, level, and vibration-free surface. Ensure adequate space for operation and display visibility.
  3. If your model includes the RPB-HM elevated display, attach it securely to the column. The stand height is approximately 480 mm. This option must be specified at the time of purchase.

The unit price entry can be switched between kg and 100g. Refer to the specific button on the keypad (often labeled 'kg/100g' or similar) to toggle this setting as required by your pricing structure.

5.5 Memory (PLU) Function

The balance includes a memory (PLU) function for storing up to 10 article prices. This allows for quick recall of frequently sold items.

  1. To store a price: Enter the unit price, then press the 'M+' or 'STORE' button followed by a memory location number (e.g., 1-10).
  2. To recall a price: Press the 'MR' or 'RECALL' button followed by the memory location number. The stored unit price will be loaded.

5.6 Autoclear Key

The Autoclear key ensures that the unit price entry is automatically reset to zero when the scale is unloaded. This prevents accidental use of a previous item's unit price for a new transaction.
