This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your HENDI UNIQ Chafing Dish. Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use and keep it for future reference.
The HENDI UNIQ Chafing Dish, designed by Robert Bronwasser and winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2024, is an advanced appliance for keeping food warm at buffets and events. It features a digital control panel for precise temperature management and an integrated glass lid for convenience.

- GN1/1 Container: A removable stainless steel food pan (100mm height) designed to fit inside the main unit.
- Integrated Glass Lid: A tempered glass lid with a heat-resistant handle, designed to retain heat and moisture.

- Nkwanye: Place the main unit on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other heat sources, ensuring adequate ventilation.
- Insert GN Container: Place the empty GN1/1 container into the main unit. Ensure it sits securely.
- Njikọ Ike: Plug the power cord into a suitable 220V/700W grounded electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.

Ntuziaka ọrụ
- Ike Na: Press the power button on the digital control panel. The display will show the current temperature and operating time.
- Tọọ okpomọkụ: Use the temperature control buttons (usually '+' and '-') to set the desired warming temperature between 35°C and 85°C. The display will show the set temperature. The unit will automatically heat up to this temperature. The last set temperature is saved for future use.
- Tinye nri: Once the desired temperature is reached, carefully place the pre-cooked, warm food into the GN1/1 container.
- Mechie mkpuchi: Close the integrated glass lid to maintain the food's temperature and moisture.
- Nleba anya: The digital display will show the actual temperature of the food and the elapsed operating time.
- Gbanyụọ: When finished, press the power button to turn off the unit. Unplug from the power outlet.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your chafing dish.
- Kwụpụ ike: Always unplug the unit from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove GN Container: Carefully lift out the GN1/1 container. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. It is dishwasher safe.

- Nchekwa: Store the chafing dish in a clean, dry place when not in use.
