4.1 Charging the Helicopter Battery

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the helicopter's charging port.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power adapter (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status (refer to the helicopter's specific LED behavior for full charge indication).
  4. Charging typically takes about 60 minutes for up to 12 minutes of flight time. Do not overcharge.

4.2 Installing Remote Control Batteries

4.3 Pairing the Helicopter and Remote Control

5.2 First Flight

  1. Ensure the helicopter is paired and on a flat surface.
  2. Press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button. The helicopter will automatically ascend and hover at a stable altitude.
  3. Use the right joystick to control forward, backward, left, and right movement.
  4. Use the left joystick to adjust altitude.
  5. If the helicopter drifts, use the trim buttons to correct its flight path.
  6. To land, press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button again. The helicopter will automatically descend and land.

5.3 Altitude Hold Mode

The integrated altitude sensor allows the helicopter to maintain a stable height when the throttle joystick is released. This feature is particularly useful for beginners and for precise positioning during flight.

The DE28 offers 3 speed levels. Press the speed mode button on the remote control to switch between them. Start with the lowest speed for learning and gradually increase as you gain experience.
