Melite

Align the lithium-ion battery pack with the battery compartment on the back of the radio. Gently push until it clicks into place, ensuring a secure connection.

Connect the AC adapter to the desktop charger, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. Place the radio with the installed battery into the desktop charger. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. The radio can also be charged directly via its USB-C port using a compatible USB-C cable and power source.

Screw the antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector located on the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

Attach the belt clip to the designated slots on the back of the radio for convenient carrying.

Rotate the power/volume knob clockwise to turn the radio on. Continue rotating to adjust the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn the radio off.

Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System (CTCSS) and Digital Coded Squelch (DCS) help filter out unwanted conversations. These can be programmed for specific channels.
- Power Selectivity:
The radio supports high and low power output settings (up to 2 watts AM and 4 watts FM). Use low power for shorter distances to conserve battery life.
- Priority Channel Scan:
Activate the priority channel scan feature to monitor a designated priority channel while scanning other active channels.
