The MINISFORUM UM773 Lite is a barebones system, meaning RAM and SSD are not pre-installed. Follow these steps to prepare your Mini PC for first use.

3.1 Installing RAM and SSD

To install the necessary components, you will need to open the bottom cover of the Mini PC. Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from all power sources before proceeding.

  1. Carefully open the back cover of the Mini PC.
  2. Install the DDR5 RAM modules into the SODIMM slots. Gently push down until they click into place.
  3. Install the M.2 2280 NVMe SSD into its dedicated slot. Secure it with the provided screw.
  4. Optionally, install an M.2 to Oculink adapter or an additional SSD if desired, securing it with screws.
  5. Reinstall the bottom cover, ensuring it is securely fastened.
