- APP Initialization: From the main screen, select the 'APP Init' icon. Input the device serial number when prompted.
- Download Diagnostic APP: The system will automatically download and install the main diagnostic application. Do not close the application during this process.

For 2017 and newer Fiat/Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles, the LAUNCH X431 PRO Elite supports FCA AutoAuth, allowing access to the security gateway module. This enables advanced diagnostic functions such as clearing codes, running bi-directional active tests, relearns, and even IMMO programming (pulls PIN & write), and ADAS calibration assistance.
