Time is incorrect even after setting the time zone.Place the cycle computer outdoors. The time will automatically correct itself once a GPS signal is received.
Cannot receive GPS signal.
  • GPS cannot be received indoors. Move to an open outdoor area without obstructions and wait for about three minutes for reception.
  • Reception is affected by the environment. If you cannot receive a signal for more than 5 minutes in the same location, move to a different area without obstructions.
GPS signal reception takes a long time.It is normal if the signal can be received within 5 minutes. Reception time varies depending on the environment.
Speed is displayed even when not moving indoors. This is normal due to weak GPS signal reception and device deviation.
Why doesn't GPS receive a signal in a few seconds indoors like a smartphone? The GPS technology used is different. Smartphones use AGPS, which offers faster reception and higher sensitivity. Standard GPS devices like the G1 may not acquire signals indoors, in forests, or tunnels. Please understand this limitation.
