6. Ntuziaka ọrụ

The GT101 is designed for use on DC 6-40V vehicle electrical systems, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, construction vehicles, ships, and tractors.

6.1 Ụgbọ elutage and Polarity Testing

Touch the probe tip to the circuit or component to be tested. The digital display will show the voltage, and the LED indicator lights will indicate polarity:

  • Ìhè ihe ngosi uhie: Indicates a positive (+) circuit. A short, quick buzzer sound will accompany this.
  • Ìhè ihe ngosi akwụkwọ ndụ akwụkwọ ndụ: Indicates a negative (-) circuit. A gentle buzzer sound will accompany this.

6.2 Nnwale na-aga n'ihu

To perform a continuity test, connect the auxiliary ground lead to a known good ground. Touch the probe tip to the component or wire you wish to test. If the circuit is continuous, the tester will indicate continuity (e.g., a specific light or sound, refer to device display for exact indication).

6.3 Signal Circuit Test

Connect the probe to the signal wire. The tester will display the signal voltage, allowing for diagnosis of signal integrity.

6.4 Ule dị ugbu a

The GT101 can measure current. Refer to the device's display for current readings. Ensure the circuit does not exceed the 20A limit of the built-in circuit breaker.

6.5 Circuit Breaker Protection

The tool features a built-in 10 amp circuit breaker. If the current drawn during testing exceeds 20A, the breaker will automatically trip to protect the equipment and the vehicle's electrical system. Reset the breaker before continuing operations.

6.6 Relay Test

Use the provided Simple Relay Test Adapter and Connection Leads to test automotive relays. Connect the adapter to the relay and the GT101. The tester can activate the relay and check its operational status.

6.7 Injector Test and Cleaning

The GT101 includes a DIY injector cleaning adapter kit.

  1. Injector Test: Connect the fuel injector to the GT101 using the appropriate adapter. The tester can drive the injector to open and close. Observe the current display; a normal value indicates a functional injector. Abnormal readings suggest damage.
  2. Injector Cleaning: If an injector is clogged, connect it to the GT101 and a pressurized cleaning tank (not included). The GT101 can activate the injector to facilitate cleaning.
