4.1 Step 1: Locate Your Vehicle's OBD-II Port

Every car manufactured after 2001 is equipped with an OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics II) port. This port is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side, often near the steering column. If you have difficulty locating it, a quick online search for your specific vehicle make and model's OBD-II port location can provide precise instructions.
