Upon connecting to a mobile device, the iDiskk Player app should automatically detect the drive. For computers, the drive will appear as an external storage device.

  1. Connect the iDiskk drive to your iPhone, iPad, or Android device using the appropriate built-in cable.
  2. Open the "iDiskk Player" app.

  4. Tap the "One-tap Backup" or similar button to initiate the backup process. The app will automatically save photos and videos from your device's camera roll to the external drive.
  5. Subsequent backups will only save newly added files, preventing duplicates.

3.2 File Transfer (All Devices)

3.3 Direct Photo/Video Saving (Mobile Devices)

The iDiskk Player app allows you to take photos and videos directly, which are then automatically saved to the external drive, bypassing your device's internal storage.

  1. Connect the iDiskk drive and open the iDiskk Player app.
  2. Access the in-app camera feature.
  3. Capture photos or record videos. These will be stored directly on the iDiskk drive.
