The Nolan N90-3 is a state-of-the-art modular helmet designed for both scooter and motorcycle riders. It features a solid and compact design, incorporating advanced technical specifications for enhanced safety and comfort. This helmet holds Double P/J homologation, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards for both open-face (Jet) and full-face (Protective) configurations.

Key features include an ultrawide visor, an adjustable VPS sun visor, the AirBooster Technology ventilation system, an exclusive dual-action chin guard opening mechanism, and a Microlock2 retention system. The N90-3 is also prepared for the N-Com communication system and the ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) system.

The Nolan N90-3 helmet is certified with DOT and EN 22-05 P/J homologation, indicating compliance with safety standards for both full-face and open-face use. Never modify your helmet, as this can compromise its protective capabilities.

• Always ensure the chin strap is securely fastened using the Microlock2 system before riding.
• Never ride with the chin guard in the raised position unless specifically designed for it and conditions permit.
• Regularly inspect your helmet for any signs of damage. If the helmet has sustained an impact, it must be replaced, even if visible damage is not apparent.
• Do not use solvents, gasoline, or abrasive cleaners on any part of the helmet.

3. Setup and Fitting

3.2 Initial Fit Check

1. Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and covers your forehead.
2. Fasten the Microlock2 retention system. It should be snug under your chin, but not uncomfortably tight.
3. With the chin strap fastened, try to move the helmet from side to side and up and down. Your skin should move with the helmet, indicating a good fit. The helmet should not slide freely.
4. Check for any pressure points that could become uncomfortable during extended wear.

4. Operating the Helmet Features

The N90-3 features an ultrawide visor made of Lexan with a scratch-resistant coating. It provides a wide field of vision. The visor can be opened and closed manually. 4.2 VPS Sun Visor

The VPS (Vision Protection System) sun visor is dark tinted, made of Lexan, and features UV 400 protection, scratch-resistant, and anti-fog coatings. It can be adjusted to various positions using the slider mechanism located on the left side of the helmet. Lower the sun visor for protection from glare and raise it when not needed.

4.3 Chin Guard Mechanism

The N90-3 features an exclusive dual-action chin guard opening mechanism. To open the chin guard, simultaneously press the two release buttons located at the center of the chin guard. This dual-action system minimizes the risk of accidental opening. To close, simply push the chin guard down until it securely latches into place.

4.4 Ventilation System (AirBooster Technology)

The AirBooster Technology ensures optimal ventilation within the helmet. It includes:
