The brew-volume selector switch allows you to choose between brewing a half or full carafe, with adjusted brewing speed and hotplate temperature for consistent quality. The brew basket automatically stops coffee flow when the carafe is removed. All glass carafe brewers feature an independent heating element hotplate to maintain coffee at the ideal temperature.
