- Twist the bottom part of the trimmer counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
- Insert one 1.5V DC AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Twist the bottom part clockwise to securely close the battery compartment.

- Twist and remove the cutting head from the main body of the trimmer.

- Shake off excess water and allow the cutting head to air dry completely before reattaching it to the trimmer body.
- Wipe the main body of the trimmer with a damp cloth. Do not rinse the main body under water.
- Store the trimmer in a dry place.
