Quntis Wireless Weather Station with 3 External Sensors Instruction Manual

Welcome to your new Quntis Wireless Weather Station. This device provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, weather forecasts, current time, and an alarm function. It features a sensitive touch screen and supports up to three external wireless sensors for comprehensive environmental monitoring.

The Quntis Weather Station features a clear color display and sensitive touch buttons for easy operation. The main unit displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, current time, date, weather forecast, low battery indicator, and comfort level.

Each external sensor is designed for wireless transmission of temperature and humidity data to the main unit. They can be placed up to 60 meters (200 feet) away in open areas.

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and each external sensor.
  2. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the main unit, observing polarity (+/-).
  3. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into each external sensor, observing polarity (+/-).

2. Pairing Sensors

The main unit should automatically connect with the sensors once batteries are installed. If connection is not established:

  1. Ensure the main unit and sensors are within range (max 60m/200ft in open air).
  2. On each external sensor, select a unique channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3) using the "Channel Switch" inside the battery compartment (refer to Figure 2).
  3. On the main unit, press and hold the "CH" touch button for 3 seconds to initiate a search for sensors. The main unit will cycle through channels and display readings once connected.

3. Initial Settings (Time, Date, Temperature Unit)

  1. Tọọ oge na ụbọchị: Press and hold the "SET" part of the "°C/°F SET" touch button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. Use the "MEM" and "CH" buttons to adjust values and "SET" to confirm and move to the next setting (Hour -> Minute -> Year -> Month -> Day).

Iji view data from different external sensors, briefly touch the "CH" button. The display will cycle through CH1, CH2, CH3, and then an automatic cycle mode (displaying each channel for a few seconds).

3. Alarm Clock and Snooze Function

The weather station includes an alarm clock with a default 5-minute snooze function.

  1. Ịtọ ntọala mkpu: Press and hold the "MEM" button to enter alarm setting mode. Use "MEM" and "CH" to adjust the alarm time and "SET" to confirm.
  2. Mkpu na-eme ka ọ rụọ ọrụ/gbanyụọ ya: Briefly press the "MEM" button to toggle the alarm on/off. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
  3. Soo: When the alarm sounds, press the "Snooze/Light" button (usually located on top) to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after 5 minutes.
  4. Kwụsị mkpu: To stop the alarm completely, press any button other than "Snooze/Light", or press and hold "Snooze/Light" for more than 2 seconds.

4. Max/Min Temperature and Humidity Records

The weather station records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values for both indoor and outdoor environments.

  1. Briefly touch the "MEM" button to display the maximum recorded values (MAX).
  2. Touch the "MEM" button again to display the minimum recorded values (MIN).
  3. Touch the "MEM" button a third time to return to current readings.
  4. To clear the MAX/MIN records, press and hold the "MEM" button for 3 seconds while MAX or MIN values are displayed.

5. Backlight Operation

To illuminate the display in low light conditions, briefly press the "Snooze/Light" button (usually on top of the unit). The backlight will activate for 8 seconds and then turn off automatically to conserve battery power.
