The controller comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the controller.
- Connect the small end of the included 10 ft (3m) USB-C charge cable to the USB-C port on the top of the controller.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your Nintendo Switch dock or a USB wall charger (not included).
- The LED indicator on the front of the controller will illuminate to show charging status. It will turn off when fully charged.

Follow these steps to pair your wireless controller with your Nintendo Switch console:
- Ensure your Nintendo Switch console is powered on and updated to the latest system version.

The controller features two mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons (AGB) on the back, allowing for on-the-fly button assignments.

- Press the button you wish to map (A/B/X/Y, L/R, ZL/ZR, Left Stick Press, Right Stick Press, D-pad). The Program LED will flash rapidly.
- Press the Advanced Gaming Button (AGB L or AGB R) you wish to assign. The Program LED will stop flashing, indicating the button has been successfully mapped.
- To clear a mapped button, press the Program Button and then the AGB you wish to clear. The Program LED will turn off.

This controller supports motion controls for compatible Nintendo Switch games. The internal gyroscope allows for intuitive tilt-based gameplay.

When the controller's battery is low, the Low Battery Warning LED indicator on the front of the controller will flash. Connect the USB-C charge cable to recharge the controller.
