5.3 Connecting Adapter Chains/Cables (Optional)

For additional security, the Alarmbox housing can accommodate ABUS adapter chains or cables (e.g., ACH 6KS, ACL 12/100, ACH IVY 6KS). To connect an adapter:

  1. Remove the alarm button from the Alarmbox unit.
  2. Insert the end of the compatible ABUS adapter chain or cable into the opening where the button was removed.
  3. Ensure the chain/cable is securely seated. The alarm will arm when the cable is inserted and the button is removed.

6. Operating the Alarmbox

6.1 Activating the Alarm

To activate the alarm function:

  1. Press the power button on the Alarmbox.
  2. A short beep will confirm activation. The LED indicator may flash.
  3. The alarm system is now armed and will detect movement or impacts.

6.2 Deactivating the Alarm

To deactivate the alarm function:

  1. Insert the key into the key cylinder.
  2. Turn the key to disarm the system. The power button will pop out.
  3. The alarm is now deactivated.
