The Tarter 200 Series 6ft Landscape Rake is designed for efficient smoothing, raking, and contouring of gravel or soil. Its high-carbon curved C-tines are engineered to clear rocks and debris to the side without digging too deep, preserving the integrity of the ground. The rake can also be reversed to push away accumulated debris.

Ozi nchekwa
- Always read and understand the tractor's operator manual before attaching or operating any implement.
- Ensure all pins and fasteners are securely in place before operation.
- Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, clear of the working area.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and sturdy footwear.
- Operate the rake at a safe speed, suitable for the terrain and material being worked.
Setup and Attachment
- Prepare Tractor: Position your tractor on a level surface. Ensure the tractor's engine is off and the parking brake is engaged.
- Attach to 3-Point Hitch: Align the rake's attachment points with your tractor's 3-point hitch arms. Securely attach the lower lift arms and the top link using appropriate pins and clips.
- Adjust Top Link: Adjust the tractor's top link to ensure the rake is level from front to back. This is crucial for effective operation.
- Tọọ akụkụ: The Tarter 200 Series Rake features 5 angle settings. Adjust the rake head to the desired angle using the provided adjustment mechanism. A steeper angle increases aggressiveness for deeper raking, while a shallower angle is suitable for light smoothing.
- Nyochaa njikọ: Double-check all pins, clips, and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure before starting the tractor.

Standard Raking Operation
- Lower the rake to the desired working depth using the tractor's hydraulic controls.
- Engage the tractor's PTO (if applicable for your tractor setup, though not directly driving the rake, ensure proper tractor operation).
- Drive forward at a slow, consistent speed. The curved C-tines will effectively gather and move rocks, debris, and excess soil to the side, creating a smooth surface.
- Adjust the rake's angle and working depth as needed to achieve the desired result.
Debris Pushing Operation
For pushing accumulated debris, the rake can be reversed:
- With the tractor stationary and engine off, detach the rake from the 3-point hitch.
- Rotate the rake 180 degrees so the tines are pointing away from the tractor.
- Re-attach the rake to the 3-point hitch, ensuring all connections are secure.
- Lower the rake and use the tractor in reverse to push debris. This method is effective for clearing larger piles or windrows.

Nlekọta
- Nhicha: After each use, clean the rake head and tines to remove accumulated dirt, mud, and debris. This prevents rust and ensures optimal performance.
- Nyocha Tine: Regularly inspect the high-carbon curved tines for wear, damage, or bending. Replace any severely damaged tines to maintain effective raking.
- Lelee ngwa ngwa: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and pins for tightness. Re-tighten as necessary to prevent components from loosening during operation.
- mmanu mmanu: Apply a light coat of grease to pivot points and moving parts (if any) to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion.
- Nchekwa: Store the landscape rake in a dry, covered area to protect it from weather elements when not in use.
