The motion detector features two adjustable dials for customizing its operation:

Foto 6.1: nso nso view of the 'TIME' and 'LUX' adjustment dials on the motion detector.
6.1. TIME Adjustment (Illumination Duration)
The 'TIME' dial controls how long the connected light remains on after motion is detected and no further motion is sensed. The duration can be set from approximately 10 seconds to 7 minutes.
- Turn the dial clockwise (+) for a longer illumination duration.
- Turn the dial counter-clockwise (-) for a shorter illumination duration.
6.2. LUX Adjustment (Ambient Brightness Sensitivity)
The 'LUX' dial determines the ambient light level at which the motion detector will activate. It can be set from 3 lux (dark) to 2000 lux (daylight).
- Turn the dial towards the sun icon for activation in brighter conditions (e.g., during the day).
- Turn the dial towards the moon icon for activation only in darker conditions (e.g., at night).
6.3. Adjusting the Sensor Head
The sensor head can be manually swiveled vertically by 300° to fine-tune the detection area. Adjust it to cover the desired zone and avoid areas where unwanted triggers might occur (e.g., public pathways, moving foliage).

7. Nlekọta
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your motion detector:
- Nhicha: Regularly clean the sensor lens and the outer casing with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface or the sensor.
- Nyocha: Periodically check the mounting screws for tightness and ensure the housing remains securely closed. Inspect the wiring for any signs of wear or damage.
- Ihe na-akpata gburugburu: Keep the detection area clear of obstructions like growing plants or debris that could interfere with the sensor's operation.
