3.1 Charging The Remote

Before initial use, ensure The Remote is fully charged. Connect the included USB-C cable to the charging port on The Remote and plug the other end into a standard USB power source. The display will indicate charging status.

3.2 Pairing with Your GoPro Camera

To establish a wireless connection between The Remote and your GoPro camera, follow these steps:

  1. On Your GoPro Camera:
    • Power on your GoPro camera.
    • Swipe down on the rear screen to access the dashboard.
    • Swipe left to enter the Connections menu.
    • Select "Connect Device" and then choose "The Remote". Your camera is now in pairing mode.
  2. On The Remote:
    • Power on The Remote by pressing the power/mode button.
    • The Remote will automatically search for nearby GoPro cameras.
    • Once your GoPro camera is detected, The Remote's display will show a connection successful message.
  3. Multi-Camera Pairing: The Remote can control up to 5 cameras. Repeat the pairing process for each additional camera.

4. Operating The Remote

The Remote provides intuitive control over your GoPro camera's primary functions. The large, high-resolution display mirrors key information from your camera, allowing you to monitor settings and status without directly interacting with the camera.
