- Enter Pairing Mode on BT-W3: Press and hold the button on the BT-W3 for 2 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking blue. This indicates it is in pairing mode.
- Enter Pairing Mode on Your Bluetooth Headset: Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode. Refer to your headset's manual for specific instructions.

The Creative BT-W3 supports four different Bluetooth codecs: aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX, and SBC. The device will automatically connect using the highest supported codec by your headset. The BT-W3 offers two options for voice chat:
- Using the Analog Mic: For in-game voice chat while streaming on premium codecs (aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX), plug the included 3.5mm analog microphone into the headset jack of your controller (e.g., PS4 controller). This allows for clear communication without compromising audio quality.
- Using HFP Mode: If you prefer to use your Bluetooth headset's built-in microphone for quick calls, double-press the button on the BT-W3 to switch to HFP (Hands-Free Profile) mode. The LED will turn red. Note that audio quality may be reduced in HFP mode. Double-press again to return to audio streaming mode.
