The InStep Sync Bike Trailer is designed for quick and easy assembly. Most components are pre-assembled, requiring minimal effort to get started.
- Unfold the Trailer: Carefully remove the trailer from its packaging. The frame is designed to fold flat for storage. Gently pull the sides apart until the frame locks into its open position.

- Prepare Canopy: The 2-in-1 canopy includes a mesh bug screen and a clear weather shield. Secure the canopy over the trailer opening using the snaps and Velcro straps provided. You can roll up either layer depending on weather conditions.
- Attach Universal Coupler to Bicycle:
- Remove the rear axle nut from your bicycle.
- Place the universal coupler onto the bicycle's rear axle, ensuring it sits flush against the frame.
- Re-attach and tighten the rear axle nut securely.
- Connect the trailer arm to the coupler by aligning the holes and inserting the safety pin. Secure the pin with its retainer clip.
- Wrap the safety strap from the trailer arm around your bicycle's frame and clip it back onto the trailer arm as an additional safety measure.
