The Klarstein Vinea extractor hood is designed for under-cabinet mounting. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety.

3.2 Ventilation Options
- Exhaust Air Mode: Connect the hood to an external ducting system (not supplied) to vent cooking fumes outside. Ensure the ducting is of appropriate diameter (150mm recommended) and as short and straight as possible for best performance.
- Ụdị recirculation: For recirculation, an activated carbon filter (sold separately) must be installed. This filter cleans the air before returning it to the kitchen. No external ducting is required for this mode.

- To reinstall: Insert the filter into its slot and push until the clips engage securely.

5.2 Replacing Activated Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode)
If operating in recirculation mode, the activated carbon filters (not included) need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the activated carbon filters for replacement procedures.
5.3 Cleaning Exterior Surfaces
Clean the exterior surfaces of the hood with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, as these can damage the finish.
