3.1 Nwepu
Carefully remove the mixer from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.

Connect the provided power cord to the AC input on the rear panel of the mixer (refer to Figure 2.1). Plug the other end into a suitable grounded electrical outlet. The F12 XR operates on a Corded Electric power source, compatible with 100-240V AC.

- Microphone Inputs (XLR): Connect microphones to the XLR inputs (channels 1-6). Ensure phantom power (+48V) is enabled only when using condenser microphones that require it.
- Line Inputs (1/4" TRS/TS): Connect line-level sources such as keyboards, guitars (with DI box), or other audio devices to the 1/4" inputs.
- Stereo Inputs (1/4" TRS): Channels 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12 can accept stereo line-level signals.
- Main Outputs (XLR): Connect these to your main PA system or studio monitors.
- Control Room Outputs (1/4" TRS): Connect to control room monitors.

The integrated USB audio interface allows for 2-channel recording of the main mix to a computer and 2-channel playback from a computer. Ensure your computer's operating system recognizes the mixer as an audio device. No special drivers are typically required for basic functionality.
