6. Ntuziaka Mgbakọ
Follow the detailed, illustrated instructions provided within your model kit for step-by-step assembly. It is recommended to:
- Study the Instructions: Before cutting any parts, review the entire instruction booklet to understand the assembly sequence.
- Nkwadebe akụkụ: Carefully cut parts from the sprues using a craft knife or nippers. Clean any excess plastic (flash) with a hobby file ma ọ bụ aja aja.
- Nwale dabara adaba: Always test fit parts before applying glue to ensure proper alignment and fit.
- gluing: Apply plastic cement sparingly to one surface and press parts together firmly. Hold in place until the glue sets. For photo-etched parts, use super glue if they are not self-adhesive.
- Painting Sub-assemblies: For best results, paint smaller sub-assemblies before joining them to larger components.

7. Ngwa Decal
Decals add important details and markings to your model. Follow these general steps for applying decals:
- Kwadebe elu: Ensure the surface where the decal will be applied is clean, smooth, and has a gloss finish (if painting). A gloss coat helps prevent 'silvering' of the decal.
- Cut Decal: Carefully cut out the desired decal from the sheet using a sharp craft knife or scissors, leaving a small margin around the design.
- Soak Decal: Dip the decal in lukewarm water for 10-20 seconds until it can slide freely on its backing paper.
- Position Decal: Gently slide the decal from its backing paper onto the model surface. Use tweezers or a soft brush to carefully position it.
- Wepụ Mmiri Karịrị Oke: Blot away any excess water with a soft, lint-free cloth or cotton swab.
- Setting Solution (Optional): For irregular surfaces, a decal setting solution can help the decal conform to the model's contours.
- Seal Decal: Once dry, apply a clear coat (gloss or matt, depending on desired finish) over the decal to protect it and blend it into the model.

8. Nlekọta
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your finished model:
- Nhicha: Dust your model regularly with a soft brush or a can of compressed air. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Nchekwa: Store your model in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause paint fading and plastic warping. Consider a display case to protect it from dust and accidental damage.
- Ijikwa: Handle the model carefully, especially delicate parts like mirrors, antennas, and small details.
9. Ịchọpụta nsogbu nkịtị
Here are some common issues encountered during model building and potential solutions:
- Akụkụ anaghị adabara: If parts do not fit together smoothly, check for excess plastic (flash) on the edges and carefully trim or sand it away. Ensure you are using the correct parts as indicated in the instructions.
- Poor Paint Finish: This can be caused by improper surface preparation, incorrect paint consistency, or environmental factors. Ensure surfaces are clean, prime if necessary, thin paints appropriately, and paint in a dust-free environment.
- Decal Silvering: If decals show a silvery sheen, it's often due to air trapped under the decal. Apply decals to a gloss surface, use decal setting solutions, and ensure all air bubbles are pressed out.
- Akụkụ gbajiri agbaji: Small plastic parts can be fragile. If a part breaks, it can often be repaired with plastic cement or super glue. For structural breaks, consider reinforcing with a small piece of plasticard or wire.
