2. Attaching the Light Head
The OttLite features interchangeable light heads. To attach a head:

- Gently push the head into the port until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, gently pull the head straight out from the port.

- Using the Sturdy Clip: The base of the light features an integrated clip. Open the clip and attach it to the edge of a tabletop, book, or other suitable surface. Ensure the clip has a firm grip.
- Iji Ugwu Adhesive: For a more permanent attachment, particularly to a sewing machine, use the provided adhesive strips.
- Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is free of dust and grease.
- Peel the backing from one side of an adhesive strip and apply it firmly to the flat surface on the back of the light's base.
- Peel the remaining backing from the adhesive strip and press the light's base firmly onto the cleaned surface of your sewing machine or workstation. Hold for 30 seconds to ensure adhesion.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for several hours before applying significant stress to the mount.
