The TV-Dex system consists of two primary components: the TV-Controller II and the TV-Base.

3.1. TV-Controller II

The TV-Controller II is the portable unit that receives audio from the TV-Base and streams it to your hearing aids. It features controls for power and volume adjustment. It is designed to be worn around the neck using the provided lanyard during use.

3.2. TV-Base

The TV-Base serves as the charging station for the TV-Controller II and connects to your television or HiFi system to transmit audio. It also connects to a power source.

Follow these steps to set up your Widex TV-Dex system:

  1. Connect the TV-Base to Power: Plug the mini USB power supply into the TV-Base and then into a wall outlet.
  2. Connect the TV-Base to your Television/HiFi System:
    • Identify an available audio output port on your television or HiFi system. Common options include a 3.5mm headphone jack, RCA (red and white) audio output, or a SCART port.
    • Use the appropriate cable provided (3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack, 3.5mm jack to phono, or SCART adaptor) to connect the TV-Base to your audio source.
