Initial Drive Recognition

Upon first connection, your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) should recognize the drive. It may appear as a new drive letter (e.g., D:, E:) on Windows or as a new volume on macOS. The drive comes pre-formatted, typically in NTFS for Windows compatibility.

Shock Sensors and Data Protection

A red LED indicator will flash when shock protection is active.

AES 256-bit Encryption with HDDtoGO

For enhanced data security, the HD330 supports AES 256-bit encryption through ADATA's free HDDtoGO software. This software allows you to encrypt specific folders or the entire drive, protecting your sensitive information from unauthorized access.   • Install a third-party NTFS driver for macOS (e.g., Paragon NTFS for Mac, Tuxera NTFS for Mac).
