3. Nhazi

3.1 Ịchaji batrị

The Dogtra ARC system uses 2-hour rapid charge Lithium Polymer batteries. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are fully charged before initial use.

  1. Connect the splitter cable to the battery charger.
  2. Plug one end of the splitter cable into the charging port of the transmitter and the other end into the charging port of the receiver.

  4. The LED indicator on both units will illuminate during charging and turn solid green when fully charged.

To turn on the receiver, press and hold the power button on the receiver until the LED indicator flashes green. To turn off, press and hold the power button until the LED indicator turns solid red and then off.

3.3 Fitting the Collar Receiver

Proper fit of the collar receiver is crucial for consistent and effective stimulation. The contact points must have direct contact with your dog's skin.

  1. Position the receiver on your dog's neck so that the contact points are underneath, making direct contact with the skin.
  2. The collar should be snug enough to prevent movement but not so tight as to restrict breathing. You should be able to fit two fingers snugly under the strap.
  3. For dogs with thick coats, you may need to trim some hair around the contact points to ensure proper skin contact.

The ARC transmitter features a Rheostat/Volume Dial for precise stimulation level adjustments (0-127), dedicated buttons for Momentary Nick and Constant Stimulation, and a Pager Vibration button. The LCD screen displays the stimulation level and battery status.

  • Momentary Nick (N): Delivers a single, quick pulse of static stimulation. Useful for immediate correction of unwanted behavior.

  • Pager Vibration (P): Provides a non-stimulating vibration. Can be used as a warning or a gentle reminder before applying static stimulation.

4.3 Adjusting Stimulation Levels

The Rheostat/Volume Dial on the transmitter allows you to adjust the static stimulation intensity from 0 (no stimulation) to 127 (maximum stimulation). Start at the lowest level and gradually increase until your dog responds with a slight head turn or ear twitch, indicating they feel the stimulation without distress.

4.4 Two-Dog System (Expandable)

The Dogtra ARC system can be expanded to control two dogs with a single transmitter. The transmitter features separate buttons for each dog (e.g., Black-P for Dog 1, Orange-P for Dog 2) for independent control of stimulation and pager functions.
