2. Ozi nchekwa
Operating a chainsaw can be hazardous. Always prioritize safety to prevent serious injury or death. Adhere to all local regulations and safety guidelines.
2.1 Ngwa nchekwa nkeonwe (PPE)

4. Nhazi
4.1 Guide Bar and Saw Chain Assembly
- Ensure the engine is off and the spark plug cap is disconnected.
- Remove the chain cover nuts and chain cover.
- Place the saw chain around the clutch drum and guide bar. Ensure the cutting edges face forward on the top of the guide bar.
- Mount the guide bar onto the studs, aligning the chain tensioner pin with the hole in the guide bar.

- Adjust chain tension using the tensioning screw. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.

The ECHO GC351 uses a 2-stroke engine. It requires a specific mixture of gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil.

5.1 Malite Engine
Cold Start (First start of the day or after a long period of inactivity):

- Once the engine fires, immediately push the nkpagbu lever to the HALF CHOKE or RUN position.

- Briefly blip the mkpata trotul to disengage the half-choke.

Warm Start (Engine is already warm from recent use):

- Lelee chain sharpness: Sharpen if dull or damaged.
- Nyochaa chain oil level: Refill as needed.
- Nyochaa mmanụ ụgbọala larịị: Refill with proper fuel mixture.
- Lelee ikuku nyo for excessive dirt.

- Hichaa ikuku nyo.
- Hichaa guide bar groove and oil holes.
- Remove sawdust and debris from the yinye and sprocket area.
