2. Ozi nchekwa
Your safety and the safety of others are paramount. Please observe all safety warnings and instructions to prevent personal injury or property damage.
- Nchekwa gas: This appliance is designed for use with Butane Gas. Ensure proper ventilation in the kitchen area. Do not store flammable materials near the hob. In case of a gas leak, immediately shut off the gas supply, open windows, and do not operate electrical switches or appliances.
- Nwụnye: Installation must be performed by a qualified technician in accordance with local regulations and standards. Incorrect installation can lead to gas leaks, fire, or electric shock.

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your gas hob. It must be carried out by a qualified and authorized technician.

The gas inlet is located on the rear right side of the appliance. Use appropriate gas fittings and ensure all connections are leak-free. Butane gas injectors are included in the box for proper adaptation.

The hob requires an electrical connection for the electronic ignition system. Ensure the voltage and frequency match your household supply. A dedicated circuit is recommended.
5. Ọrụ
Operating your Cata gas hob is straightforward. Follow these steps for safe and effective use.
5.1. Lighting a Burner
- Place your cookware centrally on the desired pan support.
- Push down the corresponding control knob and turn it counter-clockwise to the maximum flame position (large flame symbol).
- Hold the knob down for a few seconds (typically 3-5 seconds) to allow the thermocouple to heat up and activate the safety valve. You will hear a clicking sound as the electronic ignition sparks.
- Once the flame is stable, release the knob. If the flame extinguishes, repeat the process, holding the knob down slightly longer.

Once the burner is lit, you can adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob between the maximum and minimum flame positions. Do not force the knob beyond these limits.
