The iRig Mic HD 2 is bus-powered, meaning it draws power directly from the connected device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC). Simply connect the microphone, and it will power on automatically.
6.2 Adjusting Input Gain
- Locate the gain control knob on the microphone body.
- Rotate the knob to adjust the input sensitivity.
- Observe the multi-color LED indicator:

- Ụkpụrụ Cardioid: The iRig Mic HD 2 has a cardioid pickup pattern, meaning it primarily picks up sound from the front and rejects sound from the sides and rear. Point the front of the microphone (where the grille is) directly at the sound source.
