The thermometer comes with a CR2032 battery pre-installed. If the battery needs replacement, follow these steps:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the thermometer.
- Carefully open the cover.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

Fahrenheit/Celsius Selection

- With the thermometer turned off, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds.

Ensure the thermometer is clean before use. Press the power button to turn on the device. The display will briefly show the last reading, then 'L' with a flashing '°F' or '°C', indicating it is ready for measurement.

- Axillary (Underarm) Use: Place the tip in the armpit, ensuring good skin contact. Hold the arm firmly against the body.
- Eji Rectal: Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the tip. Gently insert the tip into the rectum (approximately 1/2 inch for infants/children, 1 inch for adults).
Hold the thermometer in position until a series of beeps indicates that the peak temperature has been reached (typically within 5 seconds for oral/rectal, longer for axillary).
Understanding Results
- Ngosipụta Digital: The temperature reading will be shown on the large backlit screen.
- Color Feverline Alert: The display features a color-coded indicator:

- Yellow: Mild fever
- Red: High fever
- Beep Indicator: A series of beeps signals that the measurement is complete.

The thermometer automatically stores the last temperature reading. To view the last reading, press the power button briefly when the device is off. The stored temperature will be displayed for a few seconds before the thermometer enters measurement mode.
