Before operating your Numark PT01 Scratch, please ensure all items listed below are present in the box:

The unit comes with a pre-balanced tonearm, an included cartridge, and a removable slip-mat, ensuring it is ready for use right out of the box.
4. Ntuziaka ọrụ

The PT01 Scratch can be powered in two ways:
- Ike AC: Connect the included Power Adapter to the DC input on the unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
- Ike batrị: For portable use, the unit can run on 6 D-cell batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment, insert the batteries with correct polarity, and close the compartment.
4.2 Record Playback
- Place your vinyl record onto the platter. If playing a 45 RPM record, use the included 45 RPM adapter.
- Select the desired RPM speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78) using the RPM switch.
- Carefully lift the tonearm and position the needle over the desired groove on the record. Gently lower the tonearm.
- Hazie nke Audio knob to control the output volume.
- Jiri ihe Mgbapụta knob to fine-tune the playback speed (+/- 10%).
- Hazie nke Ụda knob to modify the low and high frequencies of the audio output.

4.3 Scratching and Cutting
The PT01 Scratch features an adjustable scratch switch for performing DJ techniques.
- Adjusting the Scratch Switch: To change the orientation for right-handed or left-handed scratching, carefully unscrew the scratch switch module and reposition it as desired. Securely fasten the screws.
- Ijikọ ọdịyo mpụga: Connect your phone or any audio source to the 1/8-inch stereo input to play background beats. Adjust the Nweta control next to the input to match the input volume.
- Practice your scratch routines using the adjustable scratch switch to cut the audio in and out.

You have several options for listening to your audio:
- Ọkà okwu arụnyere n'ime ya: For casual listening, audio will play directly through the integrated speaker.
- RCA Audio Outputs: Connect the RCA outputs to external speakers or a mixer for a louder and more robust sound experience.
- Mpụta ekweisi: Use either the 1/4-inch or 1/8-inch headphone outputs for private listening.

4.5 USB ndekọ
To record your performances to a computer:
- Connect the PT01 Scratch to your computer using the included USB cable.
- Install and launch the EZ Vinyl software (download instructions provided on the Software Download Card).
- Follow the software's instructions to record your vinyl playback or scratch sessions directly to your computer.

- Cartridge/Needle Replacement: The cartridge is user-replaceable. Refer to the Safety & Warranty Manual for detailed instructions on how to replace the needle when necessary.
- Nhicha: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the protective dust cover on when not in use to prevent dust accumulation on the platter and tonearm.
