1. Ngwaahịa gafereview
The LINDY USB 2.0 CAT5/6 4 Port Extender is designed to extend the distance between a USB peripheral device and a host computer by up to 50 meters. This system comprises two main units: a local unit (Transmitter) that connects to the computer and a remote unit (Receiver) that connects to up to four USB devices. The connection between these two units is established using a standard, low-cost CAT5/5e/6 network cable (not included).
A key feature of this extender is Power over CAT5/6 (PoC), which means only the Transmitter/Local unit requires a power supply. This allows the Receiver/Remote unit and its connected devices to be positioned more flexibly without needing a separate power source. Both the Transmitter and Receiver units include integrated mounting brackets for convenient installation.

- Connect the Network Cable: Connect a standard CAT5/5e/6 network cable (not included) from the RJ45 port on the Transmitter unit to the RJ45 port on the Receiver unit. Ensure the cable is securely seated in both ports. For optimal performance and to achieve the maximum extension distance of 50m, use good quality CAT6 UUTP Solid Core cable. Using different cable types or introducing wall plates, couplers, or patch panels may reduce the possible distance.
- Connect USB Devices to the Receiver Unit: Connect your USB peripheral devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, printer, webcam) to the four USB Type A ports on the Receiver unit.
