Follow these steps to properly install your skimmer:

- Collection Cup Cleaning Function: The controller may include a "cup cleaning" or "feed mode" button. Pressing this button typically pauses the skimmer for a set period (e.g., 10 minutes) to allow for collection cup removal and cleaning without overflowing. Press it again to resume normal operation.

- Nchacha izugbe: For a more thorough cleaning, the entire skimmer body can be soaked in a vinegar solution to remove stubborn algae and calcium deposits. Rinse thoroughly before returning to the aquarium.
