3.2 Ntinye antenna

The UV-5X3 comes with two antennas: a V-85 Dual Band Antenna and a 220MHz Single Band Antenna. Select the appropriate antenna for your operating frequency.

  1. Screw the desired antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector at the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

  • To power off, rotate the volume knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.

4.3 Display Sync

The Display Sync feature allows the radio to show both a channel's name and its frequency simultaneously, enhancing readability and operational efficiency.
