4. Installation and Battery Insertion

5. Operating: Pairing with a Receiver
To operate your garage door opener or radio receiver, the Fit 1 BS remote control must first be paired with it. The exact pairing procedure may vary slightly depending on your specific Hormann receiver model. Always refer to the instruction manual of your garage door opener or receiver for detailed pairing steps.
A general pairing procedure is as follows:
- Activate Learning Mode on Receiver: On your Hormann garage door opener or radio receiver, locate the 'Learn' or 'Program' button. Press and hold this button until the indicator light (usually an LED) starts flashing or illuminates steadily, indicating it is in learning mode.
- Transmit Signal from Remote: Within the active learning mode window (typically a few seconds to a minute), press the button on your Fit 1 BS remote control.
- Kwenye njikọ: The indicator light on your receiver should change its behavior (e.g., flash rapidly, turn off, or illuminate steadily) to confirm successful pairing.
