Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and operation to ensure safe and optimal performance.
2. Ntuziaka nchekwa
- Nchekwa Eletriki: Always connect the PDU to a properly grounded outlet. Do not remove the grounding prong.

5.1 Rack arịọnụ
- Identify an available 1U space in your standard 19-inch server rack.
- Align the mounting brackets on both ends of the PDU with the rack posts.
- Secure the PDU to the rack using appropriate rack screws (not included). Ensure it is firmly attached.
5.2 Surface Mounting (e.g., under desk, wall)
- Choose a flat, stable surface for mounting.
- Use the mounting brackets on the PDU as a template to mark screw locations.

- Once the PDU is securely mounted, plug its 9-foot power cord into a grounded 125V AC wall outlet.
- The power switch on the PDU should illuminate when power is supplied and the switch is in the 'ON' position.

- To turn on the PDU and supply power to its outlets, press the red illuminated power switch to the 'ON' position. The switch will light up.
- To turn off the PDU and cut power to all connected devices, press the power switch to the 'OFF' position. The light will extinguish.

- Plug your electronic devices into the 8 AC outlets on the PDU.
- Ensure that the total power draw of all connected devices does not exceed the PDU's maximum rating of 1875W (15A at 125V).

This PDU includes 900 Joules of surge protection to shield your connected equipment from voltage spikes. In the event of a significant power surge, the surge protection feature will activate to absorb the excess energy. If the surge protection is compromised, the 'SurgePro' indicator light (if present and functional) may turn off or change color, indicating that the unit no longer provides surge protection. In such a case, the unit should be replaced.
