The supplemental material, CRP-CD-156, is a CD-ROM containing a spreadsheet tool. This CD-ROM is physically bound within the hardcopy of the report.

1. Locate the CD-ROM: Open the hardcopy of ACRP Report 117 and locate the bound CD-ROM, typically found in a sleeve or pocket at the back of the report.
2. Insert CD-ROM: Insert the CRP-CD-156 CD-ROM into a compatible CD/DVD drive on your computer.

   • Windows: The CD-ROM should auto-run or appear as a drive in "This PC" or "My Computer." Double-click the drive icon to browse its contents.
   • MacOS: The CD-ROM icon will appear on your desktop. Double-click it to open the folder and access the files.
4. Open Spreadsheet Tool: Locate the spreadsheet file (e.g., an Excel file) within the CD-ROM contents and open it using appropriate software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc).

3. Operating Instructions for the Spreadsheet Tool

The spreadsheet tool on CRP-CD-156 is designed to assist in the evaluation and selection of cost-saving and energy reduction technologies. Follow the instructions provided within the spreadsheet itself for optimal use.

3.1. Navigating the Spreadsheet

• Worksheets: The spreadsheet may contain multiple worksheets. Review any "Read Me" or "Instructions" tabs first.
• Input Fields: Identify designated input cells, typically highlighted or clearly labeled, where you can enter data relevant to your airport's specific escalators and moving walkways.
• Calculated Results: Output cells will display calculated results based on your inputs, providing insights into potential cost savings and energy reductions.

3.2. Data Entry Guidelines

• Enter data accurately to ensure reliable results.
• Refer to the main ACRP Report 117 for definitions, methodologies, and context for the data required by the spreadsheet.
• Do not modify formulas or protected cells within the spreadsheet, as this may compromise its functionality.
